Bringing short. positive episodes to the Low Carb community highlighting success stories from individuals and practitioners as well as tips and tricks and some great recipes. We know your time is precious so our aim is to get you out of the door in less than 20 minutes.

We hope to never have to insert commercials in our podcasts, but the work we do to put on these educational events, build the community and develop and maintain the Clinical Guidelines is not sustainable without your support.  Please consider becoming a patron.  We have now introduced tiers for Loyal Patrons to get early access to podcast episodes as well as really cool bonus material. Even the smallest contribution helps! Please, also, subscribe to our show on Stitcher or iTunes to help us reach more people.

The Emmy Award-winning team at Wide Eye Productions, Director/Writer Jennifer Isenhart and Director of Photography, Tom Hadzor bring you the movie: "Fat Fiction: How America's Plan for Eating Right Got It So Wrong."  Jennifer and Tom experienced such good results when adopting the LCHF way of life and then they went on to learn all about why our current USDA dietary guidelines have got it so wrong leaving millions to suffer the horrific consequences.  They decided to put their talents as movie producers to use and make a movie exploring this and featuring many of the icons in the Low Carb world.  It is narrated by Dr. Mark Hyman and features Professor Tim Noakes, Dr. Sarah Hallberg, Dr. Robert Lustig, Nina Teicholz, Gary Taubes, Dr. Jason Fung, Dr. Brian Lenzkes, Dr. Bret Scher and many others.

What sets them apart from the other films in this space is their focus on, not only the cause of the problem but successes and solutions and providing hope.  They even include an interview with our very own Doug Reynolds to discuss the Clinical Guidelines for Therapeutic Carbohydrate Reduction (https://www.lowcarbusa.org/standard-of-care/clinical-guidelines) which we published in May, and our ongoing Standard of Care Initiative.

They have funded this whole project themselves and would greatly appreciate your help in getting the project completed.  You can make a tax deductible donation to the movie through the Boise Film Foundation:  https://www.paypal.me/BoiseFilmFoundation.
